近くの日帰り温泉へ 
After watching the sunrise on the morning of the New Year’s Day, we moved to a place where we could take a hot spring bath near by.
いきなりトロピカルムード満載(笑)
その名もカアナパリ 
It’s a hotel named...
Kaabapali, which is a famous beach in Maui, Hawaii!
って、マウイ島だろう笑笑
How come it’s named after a Maui beach?
And the place is actually filled with so much tropical atmosphere.
玄関の正月飾りが。
名前からして どうかなぁ〜…
The entrance is nicely decorated for New Year.
と、最初びびったけど
7階にあるお風呂は、
眺めがとても良くて気持ちよかったです。
At first we didn’t expect it to be so good, but the bath on the seventh floor was very nice, commanding a great view of the ocean.
And the staff were all very kind.
We were more than satisfied.
スタッフも皆さん、感じよかったし 大満足。
千葉のカアナパリも、やるじゃん。
Kaabapali in Chiba is just as good, after all.
風呂上りに フルーツ牛乳

風呂上りは、やっぱり フルーツ牛乳だよね。
Cold fruit flavor milk is the best after a hot bath, isn’t it?
さっぱりして元気も出たので
海岸で志朗と遊びました。
We got refreshed and regained energy to play with 志朗 so we headed for the beach again.
相変わらず 志朗は、波が嫌い
志朗 is not so much a beach lover, for he hates the ripples.
Look at his tail, it’s drooping down miserably.
しっぽ だだ下がり。
でも、砂浜は、好きなのだ。
He likes to play on the sand though.
He is so delighted that his big sister is here with him to play.
おねーちゃんが いっぱいかけっこしてくれたよ。
Gee!
They run and run and run!
And Dad joins them too!
I can’t!
It’s just impossible.
おとーしゃんも、走る
おかーしゃん はバス
絶対無理だ…
たくさん遊んで、たくさん走って
Look at him smile!
He is happiest playing and running all around.
志朗 めっちゃ楽しかったね〜❗️
海は気持ちいいね。
We had a great time on the beach.
I hope to visit a lot more interesting places and have much, much more fun together with him this year.
