We went there to watch the game Scotland vs Russia.
残念ながら
日本の試合が、取れなかったけど
やっぱり、生の試合 見たかったのよねー。
Unfortunately the tickets for for Japan were already sold out, but we still wanted to see one in person.

There were so many of them.

Actually I didn’t know about any players until then, but I really got into No. 10 on Scotland team.
Adams Hastings.
He made many tries and successful conversions.
He is such a skillful player and also a nice looking young guy!
I will have to keep my eyes on him.

Russia was, on the contrary, actually no good that night.
My husband and I were temporarily cheering for Russia, just because it would be advantageous for Japan if they got to win the game.
However, Scotland was strong, far too strong, just incredibly strong!
We could only watch into their performances.

It’s so much fun to see the rugby game in person.

地元の方々のおもてなしも
心温まりました。
濃い一日でした。
On the way back to the station, we saw beautiful fireworks presented by the city of Kakegawa.
I found the local people helping the event with great care and hospitality.
Around the station, many sport volunteers were giving visitors high fives, which we joined too.
It was such an heartwarming and memorable experience.
