We went shopping at Costco last weekend.
試食が楽しみな、意地汚い私。(笑)
レーズン
粗挽き胡椒とシナモン
いつものでっかいクリームチーズが、なかった…
今回も、絶妙なバランス。
お散歩大好き ワン❗️
娘も行きたい、というので、
出先で待ち合わせ
久しぶりに夕方行ったら、めちゃ混み❗️
交通整理みたいに パーティションで仕切られてました。
ビックリ❗️
As we went there in the evening, which is rather unusual for us, it was packed with so many people that the second floor was partitioned and we had to get in line in order to reach the first floor.
しかも、いつも狙っている
ぶどうの試食が、ない…
ぶどうだけじゃない、
パンの試食も、ない。
Disappointingly, I found there were no more tastings for grapes nor bread at that late time.
Now, I should keep in mind,
Costco is best to go early in the morning.
やっぱりコストコは早朝に行くに限る。
ちなみに、コストコって
公式には10時オープンになってるけど
もっと早くから開いてるんです。
知ってた❓
店舗によって違うかもしれないけど、
うちの近くのコストコは、
朝9時には、開いてます。
朝イチだと、空いてるし、
買い物も楽チンですよ。
By the way
Did you know that Costco is well open before 10 am, though it is officially open at 10:00?
It may depend on each branch, but at least the one in my neighborhood is open at 9 am or even earlier.

Here are the things I bought.
ピーナッツバター
コストコのスパイス、ドライフルーツやナッツは、めっちゃお買い得❗️
こういうものは、腐らないから
コストコで特大サイズで買って
正解です。
Spices, nuts and dry fruits are the regular items I buy there.
They are very cheap and good in quality too.
They can keep long, so it’s best to buy them in value packs at Costco.
グレープフルーツ
クリームチーズとバター
しようがないので
フィリーの三パック
これでも スーパーよりかなりお買い得。
That day I couldn’t find the cream cheese I usually buy.
So I bought philly ones instead.
It’s a little costly, but still quite reasonable, compared with the ones at other super markets.
で、またこれ、旦那が勝手に入れてるし…
これと、マウイオニオン味が、お気に入り。
The one above is my husband’s favorite.
He loves either this seasalt or the Maui onion flavor in the purple bag.

結局買うんかーい。(笑)
I bought grapes.
We buy them anyway, whether there is tasting or not.

歯ごたえがあって、酸っぱい感じがなんとも言えない 旨味。
日本人好みではないかもしれないけど、
私、こういうの大好き❗️
前行ったときは 品切れだったけど、
今回あったので、よかった。
We are keen on this bread lately.
It’s very healthy and nutritious with multi grains and omega three.
It tastes pretty heavy and sour, and we love it all the more for it.
It may not be so popular among Japanese, but we prefer this type of heavy sour dough bread.
PS 早朝 を英語でいうと？
Early in the morning です。

Anyway we got pretty exhausted by the crowds at Costco.
I would rather go shopping there in the morning next time.
