Unfortunately my daughter got a bad cold.
喉が痛くて 喋れない
She has a sore throat and can hardly talk.
つばも飲み込めない
She says it hurts when she tries to swallow as well.
So she doesn’t want to eat or drink anything.
当然 食欲もない
Probably she had been exhausted throughout these four years of her club activity.
四年間の疲れが
どっと出たのでしょう…
そんな時でも 食べれそうな
カラダに優しくて
やわらか〜いものを 作りました。
I wanted to prepare something that she would be able to eat even she is under the weather.
So here is the black rolled cabbage, served in vegetable soup.
黒い ロールキャベツ
柔らかいロールキャベツに、
これまた柔らかく煮込んだ野菜スープをとろりとかけました。
This black leafy vegetable is called
Cavolo Nero
黒い葉っぱは、
カーボロネロ
別名 黒キャベツとも言われ
普通のキャベツより 栄養価が高いのだそうです。
It is Known as black cabbage.
It is also a kind of cabbage, and has more nutrition than ordinary ones.
カーボロネロは、一度チンして
繊維を切ってから巻くと
うまく包めます。
中身は、叩いてミンチにした鶏胸肉と
山芋のすりおろし
ふわふわの食感になりました。
Inside has got the minced chicken breast mixed with grated yam.
It’s so soft and fluffy that even a person with a sore throat can easily swallow it, I guess.
I hope she will take in good balanced nutritious food and get better soon.
