Hi there!
I was given some persimmons by one of my students.

They were picked from her grandma’s garden, I heard.

Aren’t they huge?

There used to be three persimmon trees in my house long time ago.

All of them were so called 筆柿, oval shaped ones.

They do become sweet, although they don’t look as sweet as round ones.

I used to climb up on the roof and picked as many persimmons as I wanted.

Here is a piece of information for you.

Persimmons are rich in potassium, which has a lot of diuretic effects.

So eating too much could cause you urinate more excessively.

And that’s how it works to alleviate hangovers on the other hand.

Be careful not to eat too much of it.

Looking at them, I feel like arranging them into something for Halloween.

How do you like it?

Thanks to the persimmons, we’ve got a little bit of Halloween in our house now.

Hangover

I have a terrible hangover this morning.
