そら豆の花 
Hi there!
Yesterday I saw broadbeans blooming.
They are decent but very pretty, aren’t they?
And they look so much like sweet peas.
It is natural, as they are biologically classified in the same group.
なんだか、スイートピーに似てますね。
同じマメ科だから、当たり前か。
そら豆畑で ハイ、チーズ❗️
志朗, say Woof!
They are now growing bigger and bigger in the spring sun.
さやも いっぱい付いてます。
春の日差しを浴びて、
これからどんどん、大きくなるんだね。
天に向かって 伸びるから
天豆 とも言います。
They are also known as 天豆, because the pods grow upward, toward the heaven.
They sure do!
本当に 空に向かって伸びてますね。
And among them I found a little spy.
よくみると アオムシ
It’s a caterpillar!
It’s got this perfect camflage!
How clever it is!
保護色、
うまく隠れてますねー。
かしこいね〜。
Mom, did you say I AM clever?
Wow, you’re fluttering.
いや〜、、それほどでも、あるワン。
…あのね、志朗、 アオムシの事なんだけど…。
Well, 志朗、I mean the caterpillar, you know.
そら豆 まだ今年は食べてないです。
あー、そら豆 食べたくなってきた❗️
Anyway, I haven’t had them this year so far.
And now I really feel like fresh some broad beans!
