生徒ちゃんに 誕生日プレゼントを渡しました。
Here is the gift I gave to one of my students for her birthday yesterday.
To be honest I really wanted to make cookies myself for her, but I could not.
The micro wave oven broke the other day and it's out of order now.
クッキーを添えて。
8月の終わりが誕生日の この子。
誕生日が来ると 夏休みが終わっちゃうから 自分の誕生日は嫌い。と言ってました。
大嫌いな宿題 ちゃんと 終わったかな❓
ほんとは クッキーを焼いてあげたかったんだけど、何しろ オーブンが壊れたまま
仕方ない。
私の知る限りで 一番おいしい焼き菓子のお店 で クッキーを買いました。

Instead I bought some cookies at my favorite patisserie, which sells excellent cookies and cakes.
My student loves cookies and was delighted with the gift.

プレゼント とっても喜んでくれました。
ところでこの日 生徒ちゃんが
自分の着ているスカートを指差して
にんまりとしている。
あれ❓ ウチの娘のおさがりのスカート❗️
かれこれ 5年のお付き合いになる こちらの生徒ちゃん。
長～い付き合いでお兄ちゃんも 私の生徒。 お母様とも 仲良くお付き合いしています。
以前差し上げた 娘のおさがりを 着てくれていたんです。
久しぶりに見た 娘の小さい頃のスカート
なんか うれしくなりました。
生徒さんや ご家族と、こんなつながりができて、 幸せだなあ。
これからも頑張るぞ～❗️って思えます。
I was just as delighted to find that the student wearing the skirt which I had given her a few years ago.
It used to be my daughter's.
As she has grown up I gave it away to my student.
It was a lovely surprise and a great pleasure to see her in the familiar looking skirt.
I am so glad to have such a close relationship with my students and their family.
I hope I will keep on doing my job and have close bonds with them for long.
