この記事はワーホリを終えてから書きたかった。
ネガティブな部分も曝け出していくしかない。
ワーキングホリデーで英語圏に滞在しようと考える方が気にしがちなこと。
ワーホリで英語力は向上するのか？
その人次第です。（何でもそうなんでしょうが…）
というのも、初級や準中級から始まった人ならば、英語力が向上する確率は高いでしょうが、
中級とか準上級から始まった人の場合は、ほぼ間違いなく何かしらの壁にぶち当たることが予想されます。
上記の問いに関する私の見解
ワーホリで英語力はほんの少しだけ伸びるでしょう。
（※ワーホリから学生ビザに変更した人を除く。）
個人的には英語力があがったなんて全く思えていませんが、
傍からの声を聞くと、向上していないことはないとか何とか。
いい環境に恵まれれば飛躍的に伸びる可能性があるでしょう。
米印のところがまたミソです。英語に関しては、ワーホリビザと学生ビザとで何らかの壁がある。
模擬試験の結果…何でアウトプット部門がインプット部門より勝ったのか…。
恐らくあのOverallは6.0くらいなのかな…。まぁ、本番で点取らないとあまり意味ないが。
果たして自分に勝てる日は来るんでしょうか。

I am still not familiar with speaking English. In addition to this, I still feel really anxious not only about speaking and listening, but also about reading and writing. I cannot help wondering what I have done in this country. haha...
There are a variety of English tests. TOEIC, which is one of the English tests, is very popular and famous in my country. On the other hand, some people who obtained their high score on the test cannot speak English or have a conversation in English well.
From my perspective, if you would like to take any English tests or go to an international school, I definitely recommend that you should take IELTS or Cambridge exam rather than TOEIC. As a matter of fact, TOEIC is required in Japan, and this might motivate people to study. However, I would say that a TOEIC score cannot always demonstrate the ability of real English skills.

無力感。才能のある人が羨ましい。諦めたくはないが、高得点は夢のまた夢な気が。
英会話の機会、英文メールを読んだり書いたりする機会は増えたのでよかったんかなぁ。（ため息）
