I suppose that most Japanese employees including you are indeed
earnest, sincere, self-motivated, knowledgeable, skilled and devoted.

Despite all these abilities, in this global era, we are outpaced by Korea, China.
As it's said recently, is it only due to the lack of English speaking ability?

First, the mental attitude toward a negotiation, for example
must be forwarded, outgoing, logically enough to persuade
when speaking English.
When we make explanations about the product's superior quality to counterpart from other cultures,
it's no time to hold back opinions as we are employed in Japanese conversation.
Secondly, it's crucially important to have background knowledge and expertise to be sufficient
make the discussion smooth.
Thirdly, then, I think it's the vocabulary what counts.
