about Tommee
Born on Sumbawa Island in Indonesia,
Tommee’s music resonates with thatlife of farmers, fishermen,
rice fields, rivers and traditionalstories;full of freedom.
An exotic mix of reggae, Latin and Afrobeats infused with traditional strings
it is a musical journey that has already circumnavigated the globe.
With previous band Tommee and the Neighbourhood,
Tommee has givenstandout performances
at the Woodford Folk Festival (2003/2004 & 2005/2006),
Womadelaide (2006) and the Byron Bay Blues and Roots Festival(2009)
as well as touring with the John Butler Trio (2004).
Tommee’s solo performances have taken him to the
Peats RidgeFestival(2006,2007 & 2009)
as well as tours of Indonesia, Canada, Europeand
Japan including shows at the Fuji Rock Festival.
Now touring with an exciting new rhythm section
and celebrating therelease of his new albums “Material is Thick”,
“In Love With EveryMelody” and “Recipe”,
Tommee will transport you to that world of traditionalstories and ^freedom.

そして伝統的な文化に共鳴しています。
