look around/round さがす
She's looking around for a new English course. She's not very satisfied with the one she's following at the moment.
look up 辞書で単語を調べる
You could look up the new words in a dictionary.
look into 捜査する、研究する
Detectives are looking into the murder.

look up （捜し当てて）訪ねる
When I was in Boston on business last week I looked up an old friend.
＊近くにいる人をちょっと訪ねる場合は look in
