５日、BGRが、Appleが従業員やテスターに対し、｢iOS 8.2｣のGM（ゴールデンマスター）版をリリースしたそうで、来週月曜日（3月9日）のスペシャルイベントでリリースされることが予想されると報じています。
｢iOS8.2GM｣のビルドナンバーは、｢12D508｣で、リリースノート（下記リスト参照）も掲載されており、
「ヘルスケアアプリの改善」、
「メールアプリの安定性の向上」、
「マップアプリの3D Flyover機能の安定性の向上」、
「音楽アプリの安定性の向上」、
「VoiceOverの信頼性の向上」、
「補聴器との接続性の改善」、
などが行われています。
また、「カレンダーアプリ」の「GMTバグ」や「複数の音楽」や「プレイリスト」が、「iTunes」で正常に同期出来ない問題、削除したオーディオブックが時折デバイス上に残る問題など多数のバグフィックスも行われているそうです。
