We are currently going through a period of investment throughout the company and one of the first places we are addressing is the works. We are looking into a load of new equipment including new test panels, air pressure test machines, oil dispensing units, lifting equipment and benches due to our expansion and movement into higher end, heavy duty and high tech markets. We are now supplying various industries with Parallel shaft gearboxes, Bevel Helical Parallel shaft gearboxes and Parallel shaft gearboxes up to 1.2million nm.
We hope to have all of this completed by the turn of the year but in the meantime thought it would be good to treat the works guys to some new works kit. Check ‘em out in the picture below…..model agencies keep your hands off, these lot are not available for your winter catalogue campaign!! Ok so now for the roll call, from left to right we have Danny – Stores Supervisor, Mark, Karl and Dave – our excellent Fitters and last but not least Tom, our stores apprentice. Tom started with us a couple of months ago and is doing fantastically…..well done Tom, keep it up!!
I will also take this opportunity to mention the other apprentice who has started with us at the same time as Tom. Stephen has spent a couple of months out in the works getting to grips with what we do and how the works and fitting department operate and has started – this very morning – in the business development department assisting Jamie, Chris and Martin with their day to day work. Stephen is soon to commence on his customer service apprenticeship so you may well be speaking to him on the phone….please be gentle with him!!
I will do my very best to get some more news articles up, I have been rather slack recently but with all the other things going on I have struggled to find time…..note to self…must make time!!
