About me: early 50's, British, work in IT.

My word, she was smoking hot. Like, smoking.

I regret how this ended up working. I had a non-work commitment that had me lugging around equipment. I suggested we meet afterwards, so it was a bit late. She wanted to meet at a quite cool little spot outside of Ebisu, but I wasn't really dressed for it, and plus I had all this equipment. It was a bit ackward.

But my goodness, was she hot.

Rii-san was the first meeting where I realized that this was not like dating or going to a girl's bar.

Every guy that goes to a girl's bar kinda knows what the game is. The girl will pretend to find you funny / attractive / interesting long enough to stick around longer, the longer you stick around and pay for things, the more they make. Most of the time girls make a least a token effort to make small talk etc.

I was somewhat expecting the same here - but through the first 3 meetings, it's been a struggle to get the conversation going. I was assuming that discussing directly the conditions on which we'd meet again (and/or take it to the next stage -> hotel) would be indelicate, but it seems like girls may want a bit more certainty on that front.

I'm going to take a different tact for my next meeting.
