I LOVE IDOLS!
こんにちは! 今日はアイドルについて話します!I love idols so much! I became interested in Morning Musume and AKB48 around 2008. Music changed for me since then. AKB48 is one of my favorite music acts. I love all the sister/rival groups too. SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, NGT48 (the scandal...(⌣_⌣”)), STU48, 乃木坂46,欅坂46, and the newly debuted日向坂46. I also love male idols as well like Johnny's and EXILE TRIBE. Idols just have asethetics about them that are amazing and inspiring. Actually, I love many types of music but idol music holds a special place in my heart. They make songs for all kinds of situations and they stay on my playlists all year long. They also have dance routines that range from easy to extremely challenging. Their performances can be works of art. Though the idol wave that started this decade has died down some, they're still amazing. So, some of my first idols were actually Johnny's. I started listening to them in the early 2000s when I was really young. (I still am young, but you know). I had mostly listened to American music up till then, but after I reached a certain age I began to branch out on my own musical journey. I loved NEWS and KAT-TUN. "Real Face" is still a jam. I was amazed when Hey! Say! JUMP debuted because the youngest members were only a year older than I am. Johnny's had such a great run of fantastic songs coming out. They still have some good songs, but not like they did then. I got back into the Johnny's sound when King & Prince debuted because they had such a great debut song in "Cinderella Girl."Anyways, I first learned of AKB48 by watching the charts. They had just started to earn top 10 singles and I decided to check them out. I got into them around when "大声ダイヤモンド"came out in 2008 which was when they were really on a rise. I stuck with them for awhile because I truly love AKB's first six generations. Those girls were the best. There are still great members in the group now, but the members were unstoppable around this time till around 2014. Though I was heartbroken whenあっちゃん graduated! I still listened to their songs but I wasn't as into them as I was before because I felt like her graduation was going to start a lot of other super popular girls to graduate and they did. But looking back I think Aachan graduated at the right time. She couldn't stay in the group and not be center, but others needed opportunities to be center. And AKB had a lot of great center candidates. I got back into AKB48 full force in 2016. It's still sad when my favorites graduate, but I guess I've become accustomed to it?Some of my favorite songs include Aitakatta, Dear My Teacher, Heart-gata Virus, Heavy Rotation, Flying Get, Koisuru Fortune Cookie, Gingham Check, RIVER, Iiwake Maybe, Bokutachi wa Tatakawanai, and Kimi wa Melody. I don't think they have made a bad song, actually. I've listened to all of them and I love them all.Which brings me to my next topic,秋元 康. The man is a genius when it comes to producing. I've loved every act he has produced. Controvery has followed him, but he does a good job at producing. I even checked out his anime idol group, 22/7. Which got me more into anime idols. Some of the songs are just so catchy and well-produced. I'm definitely looking forward to more 22/7 releases! Sally Amaki made me interested in them and when I found out Aki-P produces them, it was a done deal and I became a fan. I'm definitely going to watch their anime when it comes out next year! I've also recently started playing IDOLM@STER games. They're super fun! I got hooked on the songs. I also watched Love Live! and I like them as well.Anyways, I always give idol groups a chance because I hope I'll find some catchy, upbeat, addicting songs. I'll write another post about my other music loves, but that's for another day.またね!
