I bought a stuffed Tuatara toy in New Zealand.
It makes noise when we push the tummy.
When we came back from Singapore, I opened the door and heard a strange noise. It took me some time to remember the noise, but it was the tuatara.
Something must have gone wrong with it, and the tuatara made the noise by itself from time to time, without anyone pressing the tummy.
We took out the noise device and my husband tried to fix it. It was OK for two weeks, but then the tuatara started to make noise again.
We were familiar to that noise, so it was OK, but sometimes I ask one of the neighbours to check the plants and the goldfish while we are away for holiday.
It could have been frightening if the neighbour heard the noise when she opened the door.
