The Power of Kung Fu

Hello everybody!! Thor here!

As most people already know, I am a big Kung Fu fan and I love to practice Kung Fu myself.

It is a great pleasure to do Kung Fu by myself, but its also a great pleasure to see someone else express him or herself in the arts. Especially when they are really good at it

This brings me to another passion of me: movies.

In the movieworld there are some great Kung Fu artists that I really enjoy watching.

First of all, there is the fantastic multi-talented Jackie Chan. Mostly using kung fu with a comedic effect, his movies are always a joy to watch. Especially his Hong Kong films are fantastic and show him at his best. This is because in his Hong Kong films, Jackie Chan is the Big Boss, he can do whatever he wants and has no Studio bosses pressuring him to do things differently. And when Jackie Chan can do what he wants, he is at his very best.

Then the Hong Kong moviestar that certainly has my favorite fighting style, is Donnie Yen. Strong, powerful and rough., thats a way to describe him and his fighting style. Mostly starring in dark crime movies where bad guys have to be learned a lesson, Donnie Yen sure knows how to kick some serious butt. Just like Jackie Chan, he surely is someone to look up to.

Everybody knows Bruce Lee. I like Bruce Lee and his movies, but I mostly like Bruce Lee outside the movieworld. Next to a movie actor, Bruce Lee wrote a lot of essays and shared his ideas and way of thinking about martial arts, living and about finding the strength within you. He is a great figure to look up to, not just considering kung fu, but also considering developing one`s personal strength.
