Australia retifies N-test ban treatly.
Australian foreign Affairs Minister called on India and Pakistan to sign the U.N.'s Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty(CTBT) as the Australian goverment ratified the pact.
The two South Asian neighbors carried out a series of nuclear test in May,attracting intenational condemnation and economic sanctions.
Australia signed the CTBT,whic bans all nuclear weapons test explosions and all other nuclear explosions,in September 1996 after pushing the treaty through the U.N.General Assembly.
