Many of you, the clients,
whom I have the pleasure of speaking to thus far have mentioned a passion,
or at least an interest in travel.
Travelling both excites emotion and rewards the intellect,
as when travelling theory gets a chance to practice itself.
Travelling opens the mind to a new world of cultures,
beliefs and choices, and by learning English,
a global language, you are readying the tools
necessary to experience another land
with greater understanding and depth.
It can also be daunting however,
as most places will share little in terms of ideology
to what you are accustomed.
For this reason I have taken it upon myself to share with you
a snapshot of London, my home town,
for those who either want to go, those who have been and also
for those who are curious to how different lives are lived.
When I think of London, my London,
I first think of diversity.
In London there are approximately 8m people,
however those who are foreign born account
for around one third of this figure.
This has meant since the beginning of my existence
I have been able to access a wealth of different cultures,
with all the sights, smells and signs that accompany them.
A product of this has rendered prejudice a rare occurrence,
although of course some beliefs are sometimes too stubborn to break.
However most Londoners appreciate the diversity their city has to offer,
and take full advantage of it. For example in a not too extraordinary day,
I could wake up to an English breakfast (the best!), 
meet a friend from Russia in a Turkish Café and continue to head on down
to the local park which boasts a full and flourished traditional Japanese garden.
We may then grab a crepe complete 
(French style savory pancake filled with ham, cheese and egg),
wash it down with a drink bought from an Indian owned corner shop (convenience store),
continue the day by walking along South Bank, where there will,
most likely, be a street performance by a Jamaican steel band,
and then perhaps end the day by eating dinner in a Thai restaurant.
This does not even include people I may encounter in transit!
It is this relaxed access to different cultures that excites me about London,
as every culture has something unique to it, some unknown trinket,
something fantastic that can only benefit in its understanding an individual's appreciation
and awareness of world forever shrinking in size, so to speak.
If you do decide to come to London, 
I hope you will enjoy your stay,
and even if it is not somewhere you feel you could live,
or even spend a long time in, I guarantee you will,
if you are willing, come away with something new learned.
And if that fails then at least you will realize
we don`t rarefy our diet to just fish and chips!
Although they are quite good...
