日本人殺害
フィリピン南部ミンダナオ島マリタ町の浜辺で
１日、現地在住の日本人男性（５７）が殺害されているのが見つかった。
地元警察は４日までに
フィリピン人の妻（３０）と妻の甥（２４）
知人の男（２４）の３人を殺人などの容疑で逮捕した。
警察によると
殺された男性は「イワタ・サダメ」さん。
１月３１日夜、妻の甥と男は妻に頼まれ、
同町内のイワタさん宅でイワタさんの首を刃物で切るなどして殺害し
遺体を浜辺に遺棄したとされる。
夫婦間では、金銭や交遊関係などを巡るいさかいが絶えなかったといい
警察が詳しい原因を調べている。
実行犯２人は、取り調べに対し
「フィリピン人妻(30)が３万ペソ（約６万７千円）で殺害依頼」と証言しているという。

拷問

28日、秘密の拘置所で拷問を繰り返したとして、警察官十人を停職処分にした。
拷問方法はルーレットで決めていたという。
この拘置所はマニラ首都圏の南、ラグナ州ビナン市の住宅街にあり
警察の公式施設一覧には掲載されておらず
ビナン警察の情報部門が運営し
昨年2月から自白を強要する際や、警官たちが酔うたびに拷問が行われていたという。
フィリピン人権委員会などは、関与した警官の訴追と施設閉鎖を求めている。
