フィリピン首都圏ケソン市の麻薬取締局本部から
数メートルしか離れていない路上で覚せい剤を密売した女性を現行犯逮捕した。
調べでは、女性はおとり捜査員に麻薬を売るため
大胆にも本部前に姿を現したという。

7月19日、フィリピン国家災害対策本部発表によると
16日に首都圏などを襲った台風グレンダ（９号）による死者は
89人となり、死者数が１００人に迫る勢いとなっている。
負傷者は、３０８人だという。
死者数の大半は、ルソン地方ケソン、ラグナ、バタンガス、カビテ、リサールの５州に
集中しており、この５州だけで全体の７割を占める62人だった。

46歳のフィリピン人の女が逮捕されました。
フィリピン人の女性容疑者は
2009年10月から2年間、内縁の夫がいるにもかかわらず
ひとり親の家庭が受け取ることができる児童扶養手当など
約213万円を不正に受給した疑いが持たれています。
警視庁によりますと
容疑者は2000年から内縁の夫と同居していて
不正受給の総額は900万円以上になるとみられています。
取り調べに対し、「子どもたちにいい生活をさせたかった」と話し
容疑を認めています。

私の妻と同世代の女性の犯行です。
20年前、妻（フィリピン人女性）と結婚を決意したとき
妻に、「一つだけ約束を守ってほしい」告げました
自分の、目の前にいるときは、決して「悪意の嘘」は言わないということだけです。
何とか、20年一緒に生活してこれたのは
妻のおかげだと、感謝しています。
付け加えるなら、時代背景として20年前の日本は
「フィリピン人ホステス」が珍しいj代で
スナック、ラウンジなどで、「居る」というだけでその店が繁盛したような時代でした。
同じ、「スナック」に通っていた人も
数えきれない位の日本人男性が、当時フィリピンを訪れています。
そんな中、「お父さんが病気」「弟が事故で入院した」などなど
「助けてください」という話は、難百回と聞かされた話です。
私自身、当時「フィリピンラウンジ」の主任として働いていたので
そんな話が聞こえてくると
一応、彼女たちに確かめてみると
「サービス トーク」の一つだと、笑って答えた。
「生活に困っている」のは確かだけれど
プライドの高いフィリピン人として
お金が欲しいとはストレートには決して言わない。
「ヘルプ」してほしいというだけ
スケベな男性は、ここで何とか「彼女の家族」を助けて、「いい人と思ってほしい
ゆくゆくは・・・」と思うのはうなずける話です。
ある意味、命を懸けて、日本で働いたフィリピン人タレントは
本当に、生きる（家族を守る、家族の生活を助ける）という点で
強い、また強くなろうとした女性たちだと思います。

フィリピン人女性を介護職員として採用する際に
本人が死亡しても会社の責任は問わず
「永久に権利放棄する」との誓約書を提出させていたことがかった。
フィリピン人の女性職員からは
「労働条件が厳しい」との苦情が出ており
宿直勤務を月間１３回させた書類も残っているという。
実態について、厚生労働省が調査に乗り出した。
