フィリピン武術
エスクリマとはフィリピン武術の名称です。
(アーニス、またはカリとも呼ばれる)

「オリシ」という60cmほどの短いラタン製の棒を使う技術
「ダガ」という両刃の短剣での技術が特徴である。
フィリピンからの移民やアメリカ合衆国のフィリピン統治によって
アメリカに紹介され、現在アメリカで広く普及しており
警察などの法執行機関でも採用されている。
また、アメリカ海兵隊ではエスクリマの棒術をもとに
考案された銃剣術が制定され
アメリカ軍や合衆国連邦捜査局（FBI）の格闘術に
部分的にエスクリマの技が採り入れられている。

フィリピン入国管理当局は
日本人男性とフィリピン人女性の偽装結婚を仲介した容疑で
愛知県警から逮捕状が出ている藤井善文容疑者（４９）を日本に送還した。
藤井容疑者は２００９年４～１０月
３件の偽装結婚を斡旋した疑いが持たれている。
昨年４月に逮捕を免れるためフィリピンに逃亡したが
今年１月、マニラ市内で逮捕されていた。
藤井容疑者は愛知県警の捜査員に付き添われ
９日午後のマニラ発成田行きの日航機で送還された。
