監視カメラを使って速度違反車両を特定し
違反切符を後日送付する新システムを導入したと発表した。
また、首都圏開発局のウェブサイトで違反車両の写真を公開しているという。
このシステムは現在
交通事故が多発しているケソン市コモンウェルス通りにのみ設置されています。

フィリピンが南シナ海にある南沙諸島の領有権を主張する文書を
国連に提出したことを受けて
中国は「フィリピンは、島を侵略し、占領してきた」と
厳しく非難する文書を出して対抗姿勢を強めています。
南シナ海にある南沙諸島は
フィリピンをはじめとする東南アジアの国々などと
中国が領有権を争っており
フィリピンは今月５日
「中国の主張には国際法上の根拠がない」などとする文書を国連に提出しました。
これを受けて中国は今月１４日
「南シナ海全域の領有は歴史的、法的にも十分裏付けられており
フィリピンの主張は全く受け入れられない」とする文書を国連に送りました。
この問題を巡って、ＡＳＥＡＮ＝東南アジア諸国連合は
去年、中国との間で、問題の平和的な解決を目指した
ガイドラインづくりに向けて協力していくことで合意しましたが
「中国がその後、前向きな対応を示さない」などとして不満を強めています。
双方の文書を介した激しいせめぎ合いは
その立場の隔たりの大きさを改めて浮き彫りにするものとなっています。

父親を銃殺し遺体に火放つ
フィリピン ルソン地方パンガシナン州サンカルロス市でこのほど
汚水浄化槽の中で男性(72)の遺体が見つかった。
調べでは、男性の息子(22)が
男性の現金を盗んだことをめぐり２人は自宅で口論になった。
息子はその後男性が寝たのを確認し、拳銃で銃撃。
遺体を燃やし浄化槽に捨てた疑い。
息子は逃走したが、直後に警察に逮捕された。
