密輸
東日本大震災で国内生産が滞り
品薄となった紙巻きたばこを、海外から大量密輸しようとしたケースが
５～６月に成田空港で４件相次ぎ、計４万８８００本が没収されたことを
東京税関成田支署が明らかにした。
東京税関によると
５月２４日にフィリピンから帰国した
首都圏在住の４０～５０代の日本人男性３人が
各１万６千～３８００本を
６月２０日にも３０代の在日中国人男性が
中国から１万８８００本を密かに持ち込もうとて発覚。
航空機で到着時、荷物に入れて衣類で隠すなどしており
関税法違反（無許可輸入）や、たばこ税法違反の容疑で摘発された。
