軍所属の病院から、リビア人の看護師がすべて姿を消しました。
病院にとどまり、負傷した兵士らの治療を支えたのは
フィリピン人の看護師たちでした。
医療スタッフの姿がまばらな院内をせわしなく動いている看護師は
みなフィリピン人です。
リビア人の看護師たちは、ガダフィ軍の撤退と同時に病院から姿を消したといいます。
昼夜を問わず運び込まれる負傷兵の看護に追われる一方
雇い主だったガダフィ軍が消え、給料も６月以来、受け取っていないといいます。
「（爆弾で）手や足をなくした患者を見て彼らを置いて逃げられますか？
そばで世話をする人は他にいないんです」（フィリピン人の看護師）

国土交通大臣の認定
9月2日、日本郵船は、トランスナショナル・ダイバーシファイド・グループと
共同運営する商船大学「NYK-TDG MARITIME ACADEMY」が
日本の国土交通省が創設した「機関承認制度」における船員教育機関として
我が国で初めての認定を取得したという。
この制度は、適切な教育訓練を行っていると
国土交通大臣が認定した諸外国の船員教育機関を卒業した者に対して
従来から実施している承認試験など
個々の能力確認を要せずに
日本籍船の船舶職員（船長・航海士または機関長・機関士）として
乗り組むことを認めるものです。
今回認定されたのは
NYK-TDG MARITIME ACADEMYとフィリピン国立商船大学
フィリピン国内最大の海員組合や世界各国の民間団体らが支援する
アジア・太平洋海事大学の計3校で
この認定は、9月16日に卒業式が予定されている第一期生（116人）から適用される。
