東日本大震災の被災者を支援しようと
大分県フィリピン友好協会が主催するチャリティーイベントが別府市で開かれました。
このチャリティーイベントは
県内をはじめ九州で暮らすフィリピン人が団結して
東日本大震災の被災者を支援しようと大分県フィリピン友好協会が企画しました。
会場となった別府市のビーコンプラザでは
歌謡コンテストやフィリピンの民族舞踊など多彩なステージイベントが催され
来場者を楽しませました。
チャリティイベントの収益金はフィリピン大使館を通じて被災地に送られます。
大分県フィリピン友好協会は
これまでも米や義捐金を被災地に届けているといういうことで
今後も継続的な支援を行っていきたいとしています。

This charity event

Philippines Friendship Association was organized by Oita Prefecture try to help victims of the earthquake East.
Beacon Plaza in Beppu City was the venue
The stage hosts a variety of events such as singing contests and folk dance of the Philippines
Visitors entertained.
Proceeds from the charity event will be sent to disaster areas through the Philippine Embassy.

アキノ大統領のアメリカ公式訪問に2,480万ペソを費やすと発表した。
アキノ大統領は、アメリカのオバマ大統領と
ブラジルのルーセフ大統領が共同議長を務める
「オープン・ガバメント・パートナーシップ」の発足式に出席するという。

極秘文書
アメリカ軍がフィリピン国内に１９６６年から少なくとも４年間
核兵器を保管していたことが
アメリカのジョージ・ワシントン大の研究機関
「ナショナル・セキュリティー・アーカイブ」が情報公開請求で入手した
アメリカ国務省作成の極秘文書で明らかになった。
文書には
「事前の協議なしに何年間も核兵器が保管されていることが
（フィリピン側に）明らかになれば両国の関係が危うくなる」などと記載され
当時のアメリカが情報の秘匿を徹底していた様子がうかがえる。
文書は、ニクソン政権下の米国務省内で「トップシークレット」として
１９６９年９月、国務長官代行宛てに作成されたもので
「１９６６年、マルコス大統領に対し
ひそかにフィリピン国内に核兵器を保管していることを伝えた」と指摘。
当時の「フィリピン政府も国民も
核兵器の保管を、マルコス大統領が
知っていることを知らされていなかった」と記している。
当時、フィリピン国内にはアメリカの海・空軍の基地があり
核兵器はその施設内で保管されていたと見られる。
マルコス政権を倒したアキノ政権はアメリカとの基地協定の更新を拒み
アメリカ軍は、１９９２年に撤退した。
現フィリピン憲法では、非核化を明記している。
