焦る中国
中国海軍の軍艦の元艦長（中国国防大学所属）の発言によると
中国の南シナ海開発がベトナムなどに比べて出遅れており
「南沙（英語名スプラトリー）諸島の資源が他国に持っていかれる」と
焦りを示しており
「ベトナム、フィリピン、マレーシア、インドネシア
ブルネイが、わが国（中国）の南シナ海での
石油開発や漁業で巨大な経済的利益を得ている」と指摘。
中国による海洋資源の利用率が極めて低いとの認識を示した上で
南シナ海開発の重要性を強調し
「積極的に支配を強化すべきだ」と訴えた。

誘拐
フィリピン首都圏マカティ市レガスピ・ビレッジで
９日、レガスピ・ビレッジに住む日本人男性(静岡県沼津市出身、73歳）が
徒歩で移動中、警官の制服を着た男性２人組に車で連れ去られ
約１時間後、首都圏郊外で無事解放された。
２人組は「赤信号なのに横断歩道を渡った」などと
言いがかりをつけて男性を車に乗せたという。
移動中は、男性に手錠をかけた上で目隠しをし
最後は所持金約１万１千ペソや腕時計を奪って逃げたという。

予定どうりいかない
予定どうり事が運ばないのが「フィリピン」とは
頭では、判っているいるのですが・・・
昨日も、妻がフィリピンから帰ってきたのですが
ニノイ・アキノ国際空港で、セブ航空の
フライトが、１時間遅れると電話連絡があり
到着時間に合わせて、関空に向かった（片道２時間半）のですが
高速を走っていると
妻から「今、関空に着いた」という連絡が入り
予想していた時間より１時間も早いので、あせってしまった。
何故か理由は判らないが
「急にチェックインが始まり、早く出発した」という。
まぁ、何事も無く無事帰ってくれたことで一安心です。

新しい年を、花火や爆竹で迎えるのはフィリピンの恒例行事となっています。
フィリピン ブラカン州では、年末に向けて
火工品製造販売業者協会がフィリピン政府に対して
市民を怖がらせる反火工品キャンペーンをやめて欲しいと求めた。
フィリピン政府は、市民に対して
火工品（花火、爆竹など）の正しい使い方についてもっと教育するべきだとも伝えた。
