フィリピン ルソン地方サンバレス州で
電柱にクリスマスの電飾「パロル」を設置していた
男性(45)が感電死した。
男性は切断した電線を握った瞬間に落下し直後に死亡した。
バランガイの電飾設置を手伝い
最後の一つを付けているところだったという。

中国漁船を拿捕し、中国人乗組員6人を拘束した。
フィリピン海軍によると
拘束された中国人乗組員らは中国の海南省出身で
今月1日、パラワン島とバラバック島間の
バラバック海峡周辺1．5海里付近で操業中
フィリピン海軍によって拿捕された。
中国とフィリピンとの間には
南シナ海における領有権争いが起こっているが
今回の事件が領海内でのことかどうかは、現在調査中だという。
フィリピンメディアなどによると
フィリピン海軍は現在、6人の起訴に向け
中国漁船を没収し、乗組員らをプエルト・プリンセサ港に連行している。
中国漁船からは、ワシントン条例などにより
国際取引が規制されているアオウミガメ12頭が見つかった。
フィリピン当局によって起訴された場合
最大約20年の禁固刑に処せられる可能性があるという。
