6月に報告されたHIV感染者数は841件で
30日間に報告された感染者数としては過去最多だという。
そのうち63人は既に死亡している。
777人は性交渉による感染で、男性同士が690件（89％）あったという。

7日、麻薬取引への関与が疑われる

フィリピン出身の母親を持つ中野亨道選手（２３）が
男子８１キロ級のフィリピン代表として急きょ出場することが決まった。

リオデジャネイロオリンピックの柔道で男子８１キロ級にフィリピン代表として
出場することになったのは
岩手県出身で日本人の父親とフィリピン出身の母親を持つ中野亨道選手です。

フィリピンオリンピック委員会によりますと
３日、国際柔道連盟から競技に出場する予定だったほかの国の選手がけがで辞退し
代わりに世界ランキングなどから中野選手が繰り上げで
出場することが決まったと連絡があったということです。

中野選手はふだんは日本で活動していて、フィリピンからの連絡を受けて
４日、急遽　成田空港からブラジルに向けて出発したということです。

柔道男子８１キロ級は今月９日に行われる予定で
中野選手の出場決定を受けて
日本だけでなくフィリピンでも地元メディアが大きく報じるなど
両国から健闘を期待する声が上がっています。
