報告によると、第1四半期にフィリピンを訪問した観光客数は
2011年同期比16％増の114万8000人（回）であった。
国別に見ると、最も多かったのは韓国人で
2011年同期比16％増の26万5031人に達した。
第2位のアメリカ人は、前年同期比15.6%増の17万9561人。
日本人は第3位で、前年同期比6.4%増の10万4556人でした。
