別の男性の子供を身ごもった恋人(18)を
刃物で刺して重傷を負わせたとして、男性が逮捕された。
男性は恋人に中絶するよう迫ったが
「子供の父親と結婚する」と拒否され激怒。
刃物で10回以上刺したという。

フィリピンの民間航空委員会は
フィリピン国内線航空各社に対し、過剰に予約を受け付ける
「オーバーブッキング」を
６月１５日から禁止すると通告した。
これは、搭乗を拒否される乗客が相次ぎ
苦情が殺到していたことによる処置だという。
これにより各社は、予約を取り消された客への航空券の払い戻しはもとより
こうした客が１人出るたびに
５０００ペソ（約９０００円）の罰金支払いを科される。
これに対し格安航空会社は、土壇場でキャンセルする客
別便への変更を要求する客への対策が必要と主張。
オーバーブッキングが禁止されれば大打撃だと撤回を求め
最大手の格安航空会社セブ・パシフィックは
禁止になれば運賃を少なくとも１０％値上げせざるを得ないと訴えている。
