フィリピン大統領府によると
2016年は、フィリピンと日本の国交正常化60周年に当たることなどから
アキノ大統領が今年６月、国賓として訪日したさい
フィリピン訪問を、天皇、皇后両陛下に招請していたことから
来年、初旬にも両陛下のフィリピン訪問が実現しそうです。
両陛下は皇太子、皇太子妃時代の１９６２年11月
昭和天皇の名代としてフィリピンを訪問されていますが
即位後は、初のフィリピン訪問となり、歴代天皇としても初めてとなる。
