鍾乳洞「スマギン洞窟」で
18日、台風12号などで水かさが増した洞窟内に
日本人13人を含む観光客23人とガイド9人の計32人が閉じ込められた。
日本人は２～３時間後に無事救出されたが
観光客のフィリピン人女性(49)は救出作業中
急流に足を取られて行方不明になり
19日午後５時現在も見つかっていない。
大使館などによると
13人は、主に語学留学などでフィリピンに滞在している20～30代で
大きな怪我はなかった。
