フィリピン・セブ市の刑務所を舞台に映画が製作された。
この映画は「Dance of the Steel Bars（鉄格子のダンス）」というタイトルで
セブ刑務所の保安責任者が受刑者らに規律や仲間意識を持たせるため
２００７年にダンスを日課として取り入れた実話を中心に展開する。
この映画は、フィリピン国内で１２日に封切られ
アジア、中東、米国にも配給されるという。
