愛知県西尾市のフィリピンパブの女性従業員から
「男が灯油をかぶった状態で店に入ってきた。燃えている」と１１０番があった。
火は店舗に燃え移り
鉄筋２階建物の１階店舗部分約１４０平方メートルのうち
約１００平方メートルを焼き、店に入ってきた男も死亡した。
当時、店内には客１１人と従業員１７人がいたが
逃げ出して無事だった。
