三輪タクシー
フィリピンでは三輪タクシーが市民の足として定着しているが
排ガスによる大気汚染が深刻で
フィリピン政府は改善に向けＥＶ車の導入を計画しており
2017年までに３５０万台以上ある三輪タクシーのうち
１０万台をＥＶに移行する計画を進めている。
これに向けて「トリトンＥＶテクノロジー」（愛媛県今治市）は
フィリピンの三輪タクシー（トライシクル）市場向けに
電気三輪自動車を開発した。
トリトン社によると、開発した三輪ＥＶは７人乗りで、最高時速は５０キロ。
１回の充電で約５０キロ走行できるという。
