出稼ぎ送金
フィリピン中央銀行（ＢＳＰ）は
６月の海外からフィリピンへの出稼ぎ送金が
前年同月比４％増の１８億ドル（約１４２０億円）となり
過去最高を記録したと発表した。
１－６月期の送金は前年同期比５．１％増の１０１億ドル。
フィリピン中銀は、下半期にかけても
５％程度の伸びを維持すると予測していることから
通年で過去最高だった
昨年2011年の送金額２０１億ドルを上回る可能性が高いという。
フィリピン中銀は、送金が伸びている理由として
海外の雇い主からフィリピン人労働者の需要が強いことを指摘。
また、１－６月期の国別では
アメリカ、日本、ドイツ、アラブ首長国連邦（ＵＡＥ）、香港などからの送金が伸びたが
欧州債務問題の影響でギリシャ、アイルランド、スペイン、ポルトガルなど
欧州各国やイギリスからは伸び悩んだという。
フィリピン政府統計によれば
海外で働くフィリピン人はおよそ９００万人と全人口の約１割。
フィリピンへの送金がフィリピン経済の下支えとなっている。
