神奈川県警川崎臨港署員らが
川崎市川崎区のキリスト教会に無断で立ち入り
入管法違反の疑いでフィリピン人の男を現行犯逮捕したことに
教会側が抗議。
川崎臨港署によると、署員らが立ち入ったのは５月２７日の日曜日午後。
不法滞在の外国人がいるとの情報を得た
署員６～７人が教会敷地内にいた男に職務質問を開始。
教会には、ミサに出ていた信者ら約４０人がいたことから
教会側は「出てほしい」と要請したが、署員は応じず
約４０分後に現行犯逮捕したという。
教会は６月５日、県警に謝罪を求める文書を提出。

「宗教活動中に警察活動をしたのは配慮に欠けていた」と謝罪。
教会は「警察には協力するが、今回はやりすぎだ」と話しているという。
