フィリピンのアキノ大統領がこのほど
4月27日をセブ州マクタン島ラプラプ市の公休日に指定すると宣言した。

Kadaugan sa Mactan（マクタンの勝利）と称される同日は
1521年にポルトガルのフェルディナンド・マゼランと
マクタン島領主のラプラプが戦った日とされている。
