東南アジア青年の船

今年で38回目の「東南アジア青年の船」は
日本とＡＳＥＡＮ10カ国の青年（18～30歳）319人が参加している。
参加者は、10月26日に東京に集合後
２人ずつペアになり、日本各地で２泊３日のホームステイを体験。
今月４日に客船「ふじ丸」で横浜港を出港し
10日に最初の寄港地となるマニラ南港に入港した。

フィリピンからは
面接や研修などの選考を経て選ばれた28人が参加した。
フィリピン代表として参加した政府系機関で働く青年らは
他国の長所を学び、将来の国づくりに役立てたいと意欲を示した。
参加者は
最初の寄港地フィリピンで政府機関や教育機関
民間企業などを見学した後、ホームステイを体験。
13日にマニラ南港を出港した。

今後、ブルネイ（11月16～19日）
インドネシア（11月22～25日）
マレーシア（11月28日～12月１日）
ベトナム（12月４～７日）を回り、12月15日に東京に到着する予定となっている。

日本と東南アジア諸国連合（ＡＳＥＡＮ）の各国政府が共同で実施する
国際交流事業「東南アジア青年の船」。
「東南アジア青年の船」は、約１カ月半にわたる船内での共同生活や
各寄港地での交流を通じて、相互理解を図ることを目的としている。
