南シナ海の領有権問題
南シナ海の領有権問題で、中国と周辺国の対立が深まっている。
ベトナムに続き、フィリピンでも
１６日、中国政府の強硬姿勢に抗議するデモが行われた。
フィリピンの首都・マニラにある中国大使館前には
活動家ら約７０人が集まり
「中国は軍事侵攻をやめるべきだ」などとシュプレヒコールを上げた。
今年３月にはフィリピンの資源探査船が
中国の巡視船から妨害行為を受けたとして、中国側に抗議。
これに対し、中国側は「許可を得ない資源開発は認められない」と
強硬な姿勢を貫いている。
フィリピン政府は、スプラトリー諸島周辺の呼び方を
「南シナ海」から「西フィリピン海」に変えるなど、反発を強めていた。
