過去にパッキャオ選手の試合前に国家を歌った歌手に対して
批判的なコメントをしていたことで有名ですが
このたび行われた、7日（フィリピン時間8日）に
アメリカ　ラスベガスで行われた
プロボクシング、マニー・パッキャオ対シェーン・モズレー戦の試合前に
国家を歌った歌手シャリースを絶賛したという。
