25周年記念

フィリピン民衆約１００万人がエドサ通りに集結し
マルコス独裁政権を打倒したアキノ政変（エドサ革命、１９８６年２月25日）から
25周年の25日、政変を象徴する
ピープルパワー・モニュメント（首都圏ケソン市）を中心に
首都圏でさまざまな記念イベントが開かれた。
昨年発足したアキノ政権下では初の記念日。
ピープルパワー・モニュメント前で当時の民衆蜂起の様子を再現する式典もあり
アキノ大統領は「革命の精神」の維持を国民に呼び掛けた。
