Water Supply: OUT OF ORDER UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Access emergency water supplies at the following locations and times:

*Shimin Kaikan, Shokugyo Kunren Center (near City Hall), Matsuyama Shuukaijou from 10:00 to 13:00

*Miwasaki Gyougyou Kumiai, Iryou Center (Shingu Hospital), Sano Kaikan from 16:00 to 19:00.

*Iwatate Water Purification Plant 10:00 to 20:00.

Please bring your own containers to fill. Shingu City staff is working around the clock to restore water supply as soon as possible.

Garbage: Please ensure that all disaster related garbage, like tatami mats, and so on, are not left in the streets to block traffic.

City garbage collectors will be making the rounds in order and garbage will be collected. Household collection begins Sept 6th.

Please place all garbage on the side of the road where garbage trucks can access.

Please be patient as trucks make their way around the city. ‘Eco Hiroba’ recycling collection will also be postponed until further notice.

For non-flush toilet collection please visit the Seikatsu Kankyou Ka at City and request a Voucher.
