日航、航空券ネット販売で楽天と提携 リストラ営業力低下をカバー
会社更生手続き中の日本航空が今月中にも、楽天グループの旅行代理店「楽天トラベル」と、航空券のインターネット販売で業務提携することが１日、分かった。リストラによる人員削減で営業力が低下するのをネット販売の強化でカバーするのが狙い。
２０１０年度に数十億円、１１年度に１００億円近い増収を見込み。５年以内に数百億円の売り上げを目指す。
提携では、顧客がインターネット上で航空便と宿泊施設を自由に組み合わせ国内旅行をアレンジする「ダイナミックパッケージ」と呼ばれるサービスを提供する。パソコンで旅行の時期や目的地、予算を入力すると、条件にあった航空便と宿泊施設が合わせて画面に表示される。
航空機の座席と宿の空き情報をリアルタイムに知ることができるうえ、一般の旅行代理店が扱うパッケージツアーに比べ、旅行時期が近くなるほど割安になるメリットもある。日航にとっては、人件費や旅行パンフレットのコスト削減にもつながる。
日航はリクルートと提携し同様のサービスを提供しているが、楽天とも手を組み、顧客の開拓を強化する。楽天グループは全日本空輸と折半出資で子会社を設立し、同様のサービスを提供している。
