来週の月曜からはサマークラスが始まります！！
But, summer class will start from next Monday!!
だいぶ、新しい生活にも慣れ、アメリカなのに日本食ばっかり作って食べてます。🍙🍛🍜
I'm getting used to live in new environment, and I keep eating Japanese foods even though here is America.
ある晩、僕の大好きなアボカドを料理していました。
One day, I cooked my favorite avocado for dinner.
8つくらい入って$4(400円くらい)。
You can get about 8 for $4.

「安い！！！(//∇//)」
" It's so cheap!!!"
と思って購入したのですが
I thought and bought it, but
これまためっちゃ硬い、、、。😨
it is so stiff...
ナイフでも中々皮が剥けないのでピーラーでトライしてみると
Since I couldn't peel avocado skin by using knife, I tried to peel it by using peeler.
「スパッッッッッッッッッ」と何かに違うものが切れた感触がしました。
And then,
I felt like I peeled something different with avocado skin.
指を見てみると
As I saw my fingertips
「どばどばどばどば、、、、」
"dribble,dribble,dribble"
😱😱😱
と真っ赤な液体が指の先から流れ出していました。
Bright red liquid was coming out from my fingertip.
「あれ、、、？？？(o_o)」
" Oops!!"
「これってひょっとしてやばい系？？？」
"OMG... what should I do??"
血をとりあえず止めようとしますが、勢いが止まらず、流れ続けています。
Anyway, I tried to stop breeding, but still keep breeding.
それを見た友人が
Then, my fried who saw me said
「お前、これはやべーぞ！！！すぐに病院に行った方がいい！！！」
" Oh my god!! It's a big problem!! You'd be better off seeing a doctor right now!!!"
えーーー、そんなこと言われてもアメリカの病院なんて行ったこともないし、
What?! Seriously?! I don't know what to say, besides I've never been to American hospital though.
学校で入った保険もいつまで適応されてるのか分からないし
And I don't know until when my insurance can cover medical expenses,
アメリカの人は高いからめったに病院には行かないって言ってたし
Moreover, I've heard that American people don't often see a doctor because of expensive medical expenses.
と、パニックパニック。😵😵😵
I'm in panic.
とりあえず、友人に薬局に連れて行ってもらい応急処置をして病院へ。🏥
Anyway, I had my friend drive me off at a pharmacy to take first aid and went to a hospital.
緊急病院へ行くと受付でもちろん、保険証は持ってますか？👩🏻⚕️
I was asked by a receptionist whether I had a health insurance card in emergency room,
と聞かれますが
but
「持ってません、、、。」
I said I didn't have...

（学校で入った保険会社に連絡すれば保険証を作れたそうですが、その時まではアメリカの保険を買ったのはいいのですが、説明も全然なかったのでいざ使うとなった時に何も分かりませんでした。）
"I could have made my health insurance card if I had asked to the insurance company, but I didn't know what to do after I bought a health insurance because nobody explained how I could use health insurance in America."
診察室に行く前にカウンセリング室みたいなところに案内され事情を話すと
The hospital receptionist guided me to a kind of counseling room, and I explaind about my situation to staff, then he said
「後から、保険会社に連絡することも可能ですが、診察だけでも最低$8000(8万円)は必要ですよ。」💸💸💸
"You can ask to the insurance company after you see a doctor, but you will need to pay at least $800".
と言われ
速攻で家に戻り、次の日まで待って学校のヘルスセンターで処置してもらうことにしました。
So I quickly decided to go back home, waited until tomorrow and go to health center in college.
アメリカの医療費は日本と比べてとてつもなく高いです。💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰
Medical expenses in America are ridiculously expensive compared to Japan.
救急車なんて呼んだらどんな額を請求されるか想像もつきません。😟😟😟
If I called an ambulance, I could't imagen how expensive fees they would charge to me.
実は前のクラスでアメリカの医療費について調べたことがあるのですが、
Actually, I've searched about medical expenses in America when I took my previous class,and
世界で医療費の高さはナンバーワンだそうです。
when it comes to medical expense, America is the highest in the world.

Doctors paid a large amount of money for university to become doctors,
病院によって値段設定が自由。
簡単に言えば病院もビジネス。🤝🤝🤝
Hospital can decide on prices freely.
Long story short, hospitals are also one of businesses.
ちなみに硬いアボカドで指を切る人も多いそうです。🥑🥑🥑
There are a lot of people who get injured by stiff avocado in America by the way.
アメリカで一番怖いものは病院なのかもしれません笑笑
The most scared thing in America might be hospital. Hahaha.
