今日の茶道クラスでは、お茶事の流れ全体を体験しました！！
お茶とお菓子のイメージが強いですが、元々はまず食事が出て、その後お茶を飲みます！
最初は待合室で他のお客さんと待ちます。それからお茶室に入ります。
For today's tea ceremony class, I got to experience the complete ceremony!
People often think of tea and sweets when it comes to tea ceremony, but actually there is a whole ceremony including food before the tea!!
First, we wait and meet the other guests in the waiting room. Then we go into the tea room.
まずはみんなで炭を見ます。暖かい気持ちになりますね。
We gather and watch the fire. There is a very nice warm feeling here.
お香が入っていた入れ物を拝見します。
We observe the box the incense was in.
それからお食事が出てきます。
お米、味噌汁とおかず。
Then the food comes.
Rice, miso soup and one plate.
お酒です。今回は手作りの梅酒
Then some sake (alcohol). This time we had original plum wine.
ご飯をもっと頂きます。
We have more rice.
次のお料理です。
The next dish.
次は海と山の食物。
Food from the sea and ocean.
お湯をお皿に入れて飲みながら綺麗にします。
We put hot water in the bowls and clean it as we drink it.
お菓子です。
Now dessert!
ここで一回お茶屋を出て、休憩です。
Here, we leave the tea room for a little break.
戻ったら、濃茶を無言でいただきます。When we return, we have koicha, thick tea in silence.
そのあとにお菓子とお茶です！
Then we have the sweets and tea.
全部で4時間近くの素晴らしいお茶会でした。ありがとうございます！
It was a wonderful tea ceremony lasting close to four hours.
おもてなしの基本はここからきてたんですね！
