おっさんがDTMを始めたんだよ～
と言うと
同僚がDTMってなに？？？
キョトンとしていまして
おっさんの世代では
まだまだDTMは浸透していないようです
というわけで
DTMってなに？？？
について書いてみます
DTMはデスクトップミュージックの略で
DesktopMusicは
パソコン上で作曲や編曲を行うための
音楽制作ソフトウェアのことを指しています
このソフトウェアを使って
オリジナルの楽曲を作成することができます
DesktopMusicは
音楽プロデューサー、音楽家、編曲家などの
音楽制作に携わる人々にとって重要なツールで
作曲からミックス、マスタリングまでの
様々な工程を実行することができます
パソコンがあれば曲がつくれるの？
必ず必要な機材は
パソコンとDAW「音楽ソフト」があれば
音は出ます
他にあると便利でよい音になるのが
★オーディオインターフェース
オーディオ信号をパソコンに入力するために必要な機器。
★MIDIキーボード
Desktop Musicソフトウェアと連携するためのMIDI入力デバイス
★ヘッドホンやモニタースピーカー
オーディオ信号を確認するためのオーディオ出力デバイス。
★音源、サンプルライブラリ
Desktop Musicソフトウェア内で
使用するための音源、サウンド、などのサンプル
これらの機材は音楽制作の規模や予算
使用目的によって異なりますが
上記のような基本的な機材があれば
デスクトップミュージックを行うことができます
おっさんの世代でもDTMが一般的になればいいなと
思っている今日この頃です
