LIZA JANE BAKER --The Voice of Wales ... LIZA JANE BAKER --The Voice of Wales Hails from South Wales and is an incredible vocalist performing throughout the United Kingdom and the United States. Her singing career began when her parents noticed Liza's love of music from the age of about 3. They encouraged her talents early in life by entering her into many talent competitions, which proved to be very successful and gained Liza lots of good write-ups in the Stage magazine. At 16, Liza's parents helped her begin a career as a vocalist in venues, in and around South Wales. She gained a lot of experience as a singer in Clubs & Pubs and performed for special occasions, such as weddings etc. At the age of 20, Liza suffered with Chronic Kidney Failure and underwent a kidney transplant. 8 years later her transplanted kidney failed, and she was put back on dialysis treatment. However, she was lucky enough to have yet another kidney transplant in May 2002, and is again back to being fit and well. Lisa says, "I feel a bit like a cat with 9 lives". And she has been focusing on her developing career ever since. A regular on The Daniel O'Donnell and friends radio show each week in Australia New Zealand and Ireland, Liza has performed on BBC Radio Wales, appeared in many musicals and television shows. She has just recorded her latest CD at the Briarpatch Recording Studio in Nashville. On stage Liza performs a wide variety of music for all ages including her own compositions and Power Ballads made famous by vocalists that have influenced her style such as Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion & Shakira.
リザはウェールズの歌姫ですが、他の腎臓病患者を勇気づけるために、また、移植推進のため、臓器ドネーションの認知（Awareness）活動をしてます。
Liza said " I love singing and music, it gives me a buzz and drives me on, every time a get on stage I feel alive and enjoy every minute, except for the butterflies just before I get on, but that's all part of it. I hope that I can be a positive role model for other kidney patients, if I can do it anyone can."
私は歌うことと音楽が大好き！電話くれたら、すぐ飛んで行くわ！ステージにあがるたびに、生き返る気持ちになるわ。1秒1秒を楽しんでいるの .... 私は他の腎臓病患者のポジティブなロールモデル（模範、お手本）になれることを願っているわ、私にできるのなら、誰でにもできるのよ！
