German "Business Daily" reported on September 28. According to a survey by Roland Berger Management Consulting, 78% of respondents expect the digitalization of the health system to accelerate for at least two years. By 2025, 12% of medical expenditures will be used for digital services. Over 500 experts in the insurance, medical, pharmaceutical and technology industries have accepted the survey.
Nearly 60% of respondents believe that technology companies such as Google and Amazon will become part of the health system just like insurance and hospitals. 4% of the experts expressed concern about the monopoly of the digital health market, while half of the respondents believed that the digital health platform would be openly shared.
